A group of local people is going to Flanders (Northeast France & Belgium)…..

From Sunday 20th September to Thursday 24th September to visit First World War sites, memorials, and cemeteries. They will be laying wreaths or poppies on behalf of our community at as many places as they can.

If you are related to any of the South Molton men who died in the Flanders area please call in to the Tourist Office (at 1 East Street) or email Veronica Johnston at v.b.johnston@fhsinternet.com to leave your name & contact details and your relatives name. Many photographs of cemeteries & memorials are available online, but we can take individual photos for you if requested.
