If you just fancy relaxing with a drink alone, or with friends, we offer a great range of real ales from some of the best breweries in the west country, real Devon ciders, an extensive list of quality wines & Champagne by the glass & a collection of 65 single malts from around the world.
We’re proud to have been listed in the CAMRA Good Beer Guide since 2008 &thrilled to be the North Devon ‘Branch Pub of the Year’ 2016!

Being located in the beautiful Devon countryside offers us a fantastic natural larder right here on our doorstep! From field to shore our menu features dishes that are unique to our kitchen & we’ve been listed in the Good Food Guide since 2011. Lunchtimes Tuesday to Saturday you could enjoy anything from a generous freshly cut sandwich, a starter as a light-lunch, a succulent steak from our grill menu or something from our specials board. On Tuesday night the Grove hosts its popular ‘Fish & Chip Night’. Then from Wednesday evening through to Saturday evening the full menu is on offer with anything from simple Proper Ham, Eggs & Chips to the delicious Individual Wellington of North Devon Beef with Dauphinoise – there really is something for everyone here at the Grove!

Sunday lunchtimes we offer a great roast featuring, no surprise, meats from local farms & Grove-made Puddings for those who enjoy a great pud. We make most things from scratch in our kitchen here at the Grove, therefore, with a little notice we can cater for most dietary needs.
