The Bell Inn stands opposite the church in the picturesque village of Chittlehampton. Run by 3 generations of the same family since 1975, The Bell Inn is a traditional Devon Pub which is both child and dog friendly.

Exmoor, Dartmoor and the coast with beautiful beaches are all within 25 miles plus the Market towns of Barnstaple and South Molton nearby.  There is free Wi-Fi, not to mention the Shove ha’penny, skittle alley, pool and darts! All in the setting of a traditional English village pub bar with modern facilities such as a dining conservatory  and easy disabled access.  Also, we now have a new Function Room.

There is a large garden at the rear with a play area for children next to the orchard where alpacas graze. All of this is set in the heart of the beautiful North Devon Countryside.

Chefs Marianne Smallridge and Helen Reed are dedicated to bringing top quality food at great prices with individually prepared meals using only local butchers and fresh farm produce. Mark and Lynn are sure the mouth-watering fayre at The Bell has something for everyone including a great Kids Menu.
