Fri 6th All day—National Read in Public Day in association with Sainsbury’s South Molton. Includes a special Share a Story 10.30-11.30, launch of a new library book group, books to win, and plenty of sharing and reading stories.
Fri 13th—Launch of Art Trek, with artists showing a variety of work in the library. There will be demonstrations, workshops, work for sale and lots to learn and inspire. Including felt and lace making, portrait drawing and printmaking. Ask staff for more details or visit us to pick up a brochure.
Fri 13th 2pm- Jonathan Edmunds talk for Art Trek–‘Don’t be afraid of Modern Art’ a talk with slides.
Tue 17th 17:30—Friends meeting. Find out what events the library is planning and share ideas or join our Friends group.
Thur 19th 13:30 meet at the library—Jonathan Edmunds walk around South Molton taking in Art Trek venues.
Sat 21st 10:30-12:00– Art Trek Family craft. Free, drop-in craft the whole family can enjoy.
Thur 26th 10:30-11:30—Better Together with special guest Anne from the Memory Café. All welcome to join in with an art project celebrating memories over a cup of tea & friendly chat.
Thur 26th 18:30—Classic Film Night, starting for another season, showing 1950’s film ‘Harvey’, starring James Stewart. Free entrance.
Fri 27th 10:30-11:30—Share a Story group . Meet to share tales, life lessons and stories, usually with a theme or starting point.
Sat 28th 10:30-12:00– Yarn Craft, with Sally Angel. Free, drop-in event every last Sat of the month.
