Welcome to Quince Honey Farm 2021

Visit Quince Honey Farm, a working honey farm based in South Molton. Offering a full day out for the whole family to enjoy.

You have the chance to visit our Honey Factory and learn all about how the bees making honey, enjoy a honey tasting session and roll your own bees wax candle. There are viewing windows into the honey production areas and you can join a tour to get a close-up look at how honey is extracted from the hive and then bottled in jars ready for sale in the shop.

The Bee Shed is where you will find interactive hives, giving you a chance to see millions of bees at work from behind glass and in complete safety! Our interactive hives open up at the push of a button, giving you an even closer look!

Our band new unique Exhibition building hosts the popular Beekeeping Demos where our team open a beehive from behind protective glass and explain all that you can see – will you find the queen bee?! The Be a Beekeeper 30-minute taster session also takes place here, giving you the chance to get suited up in protective clothing and have a go at beekeeping yourself!

Let the young and the young at heart buzz around The Play Hive Adventure Park where you’ll find the ever-popular indoor soft play, outdoor play area, lake and picnic area – a fantastic space for children and families to enjoy together. Here you will also find a cafe serving light bites and refreshments.

The centre piece for the attraction is the beautifully landscaped Nectar Gardens that can be explored all year round. Wonder through the hexagonal plots, each with a different theme, all plants being bee and pollinator friendly.

While you’re outside make sure to take a stroll along the meadow trail and visit the apiary fields, you can also walk up to the fruit orchard via the sunflower trail and wild-flower meadows which surrounds the main complex.

When you need a break, head back to the shop where you’ll will find the restaurant serving up delicious home-made meals, drinks and special honey cream teas. The perfect place to relax with a cuppa whilst enjoying the views out to the gardens and woodland. And don’t forget to browse the Farm Shop selling a range of seasonal honeys, beeswax candles, skincare and gifts.
