As summer progresses so does the Pannier Antiques, Collectibles, Vintage and Nostalgia Fair in South Molton Pannier Market.

The next of these popular markets takes place on Sunday 16th August at 10am. Free parking and free entry add to the attraction for dealers and browsers alike.

South Molton is a popular holiday destination being the gateway to Exmoor; and buyers from all over the country, as well as abroad have found the perfect purchase at previous markets. Whether it be a memento of their visit to the West country or a gift to a love one, the quality stall-holders have that perfect object to tempt.

Many visitors are looking to furnish homes in the the South West, and the traders have a range of furniture to suit all budgets and tastes.

“I never expected to find a set of high-backed chairs to suit our high-ceilinged dining room,” enthused one buyer “And the trader, offered to deliver them! What perfect service.”

Several traders specialise in collectibles such as film posters, cigarette and gum cards, ceramics, jewellery and wooden boxes. The variety of antique writing slopes and tea caddies restored with meticulous care is amazing. 

Devon has a reputation for potte4ry and famous names such as C H Brannam, William Baron, E B Fishley, Braunton Pottery from North Devon and Longpark, Torquay Watcombe and others from South Devon are to be found.

Jewellery is high on the list of many visitors desires and many of our traders stock a wide range of quality and interesting pieces.
