George Nympton Invite You to their Crib Festival

George Nympton is kicking off the Christmas Season with
a ‘Crib Festival’ and a weekend of delights on November 28th and 29th.

The Church of Nymet St George will have a display of over 50 Nativity Sets from around the world, the smallest in a nutshell, the largest, two third life size.

The church will be open on Saturday 10.30 – 12.30 and 2 – 5 pm, and on Sunday from 1.30 – 4.15 pm, after which there will be a candlelit service to which everyone is invited. Teas will be available in the village hall while the church is open. Crib Festival Nativity 1

There will be a Coffee Morning in the Village Hall in aid of ‘Gray Matters’, a charity supporting Brain Tumour patients on Saturday 10.30 – 12.30, and a talk on ‘Christmas Traditions and Customs’ by local historian on Sunday at 2.30 (£5 includes tea and cake).
